I just finished devouring your book, "Gone with the Windsors." It was terrific! What a flair you have for satire and one-liners. I especially liked the coal porter and Dardanelles ' lines. It was so frightfully British that I had to make myself toast, marmalade, tea. My cat, Meow, refuses to cook for me. The book would make a terrific movie IF you could get the right cast. I can't wait to read more. Jeanne

I am just the last addition to a group of Bulgarian friends who’ve read The Life According to Lubka – and loved it! Thank you! We are seriously hoping to be able to meet you somewhere some day and buy you a drink. Rakia, obviously.

I'm just about to finish "The future homemakers of America", and I already know that I will miss the characters. I love this book. Looking forward to reading more from you.

I have just read my first Laurie Graham book "The Unfortunates" and loved it to bits. Now that I've finished it I am really missing reading about Poppy's exploits and am just about to visit my local library to try and get them to order every other Laurie Graham book. I hope to bring one home tonight and read it in my 'Living Rum'. I am going to send "The Unfortunates" half way round the world to my sister-in-law in Chile as I believe Poppy still deserves to travel!

I've almost done it! Just one more book of yours to read - your latest (which I shall be able to get at my local library - no problem). I started reading your titles back in the summer and have obsessively continued! Your out of print titles I found on Amazon and have passed your work on to good friends , both in their 70s and 80s. Love your blog too - please continue writing, making us laugh deeply and think deeply.
