Message 74 - Pamela Scott
Hello Laurie
I've just finished reading The Importance of Being Kennedy and wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed it. I love the humour and compassion you show in all your books.

I've recommended you as an author to my mother who is partially sighted, and I'm hoping that she'll be able to get some of your books on CD or cassette through the RNIB.

Keep writing! Best wishes, Pam Scott

Hi Laurie,
I've read every one of your novels. The last one, The Importance of Being Kennedy, I read poolside at a lovely hotel in Malta this past Spring. I'm American and my husband is English. Your writing is a delightful combination of the two cultures. I need another fix! When is your next novel coming out?
Best regards,
Joni

Gone with the Windsors makes me so happy. Whenever I get bogged down by mediocrity, I escape to Maybell's diary. I like that she shops all the time and talks about clothes. And I love the very English notion of tea. You make my life good - thank you.

Wow! Just read Homemakers of America and now The Dress Circle; Laurie, I must congratulate you on your writing and the humour - the sadness too - wonderful books and I can't wait to read more of them. You've gained another fan! (PS I'd love to read a sequel to the Homemakers book, I can't get those characters out of my head!)

It`s the wit I love about your books, especially the upper class people who are in a world of their own. I love the strong, bizarre characters and have laughted and raved about your books, one as good as the next. Hope you are busy working on another.
